Building on the ultra-slim, lightweight, and user-friendly legacy of the original "SMARTCOBY SLIM 5K," this new model features next-generation semi-solid-state battery cells, specifically engineered for superior ignition resistance and stability.

 

Safety Driven by Structure and Control

While "semi-solid" or "quasi-solid" is often associated with safety, there is currently no industry-wide definition for these terms. CIO has established its own rigorous standards for both internal structure (NovaCore C2) and electronic control (NovaSafety S2). Only batteries that meet these stringent requirements are designated as "Semi-Solid-State." This model has successfully passed extreme durability tests, including 130°C (266°F) heating, short-circuiting, pressure, dropping, and nail penetration.

 

NovaCore C2

This core design level utilizes high-quality semi-solid-state cells from Tier 1 manufacturers - already proven in the smartphone industry - and adheres to CIO's proprietary structural standards. These include precise expansion clearance, compartment partitioning, flame retardancy, and advanced heat dissipation. This design ensures the core cells themselves remain within 55°C (131°F).

 

NovaSafety S2

This safety system constantly monitors the battery’s internal temperature. If high temperatures are detected, it automatically regulates output to prevent excessive heat. Powered by CIO’s proprietary firmware, this system is designed to maintain a safe operating range. During use, exterior touchpoints are engineered to remain at or below 42°C (107.6°F).

 

Ultra-Thin 8.7mm Profile

By combining an ultra-thin battery cell with an aluminum alloy casing that offers superior strength and heat dissipation, we have achieved a design that is exceptionally thin, small, and light. Its size fits comfortably in most hands, even when stacked with a smartphone such as an iPhone Air or Pixel 10. It also slides effortlessly into narrow spaces, such as bag or pouch pockets. It is ideal for daily use during commutes to work or school, at cafes, and for travel on Shinkansen or airplanes.

 

Certified Qi2 Wireless Charging

This product is certified for the "Qi2 standard," which uses magnets for secure positioning and wireless charging. It provides a maximum output of 15W for iPhone 12 through 17 series, iPhone Air, and Pixel 10 series.

 

Wired and Dual Charging Capabilities

•           High-Speed Wired Output: Delivers up to 20W via the USB-C port.

•           Versatile Compatibility: Charges devices that do not support Qi2, such as the iPhone SE series, Galaxy, Xperia, and other Android smartphones or iPads.

•           Dual Charging: Wirelessly charge your iPhone while simultaneously charging your earbuds via cable. (Note: Total output is limited to 5W + 5W during simultaneous use).

 

True Pass-Through Technology

Charge your smartphone while the power bank itself is recharging. Unlike standard pass-through systems, CIO’s proprietary True Pass-Through design automatically switches to a bypass circuit once the battery is full. This diverts power directly to your device, reducing the load on the internal cells for enhanced safety and a longer battery lifespan.

•           Smartphones: Supports Qi2 and MagSafe-compatible devices, including iPhone 12 through 17 series, iPhone Air series, Pixel 10 series, and other Qi-enabled Android smartphones.

•           Case Compatibility: Designed to stay clear of the camera when used with iPhone cases that follow Apple’s official guidelines.
